JCJ Architecture is a diverse planning, architecture and interior design practice that offers comprehensive services to clients in the public and private sector. Our engaged design process brings together our experience as professionals with a methodology of active and alert advocacy. Balancing owner/client goals, functional objectives and physical context alongside project scope, constraints and opportunities, we strive to resolve and manifest project qualities into built form.

Entente Design

Entente Design was formed in 2010.  We are a small woman-owned business focused on the goal of “Improving Healthcare Through Architecture.”  Our mission and vision for the company is one and the same:  Care Collaborate Create.  We aim to have every client clearly see that we truly Care about their project, that we only achieve success with their Collaboration and that the final design can only be Created after the first two directives are achieved.

Sandy and Carrie Arbuckle, the owners of the firm, have focused on healthcare design in California for more than 25 years.  They have extensive knowledge of Federal, State, local building code and Licensing requirements and have developed trusting relationships with these jurisdictions. 

Hubbell & Hubbell Architects

Hubbell & Hubbell focuses on building with profound respect for our planet, specializing in straw bale homes and other green building techniques such as green roofs, natural plasters, adobe, rainwater harvesting. Since creating the firm in 1995 with my father, James Hubbell, a world-renowned artist deeply embedded in San Diego’s culture, we have built an established reputation for personally serving our clients and professionally applying our expertise to a wide spectrum of projects—from residential home design and remodeling to public facilities such as churches, zoos, parks, nature centers, and tribal centers. Our first duty as architects is to create spaces that celebrate the excitement and mystery of our world in ways respectful of nature’s laws, as well as in ways that connect people to nature’s nourishing beauty.

Jeanne Liem Architecture + Design is a small firm specializing in residential projects that offers aesthetic, healthy, and smart design solutions. The houses we designed provide comfort and evoke pleasant experiences for people who utilize them.

Dean Meredith Architecture

Dean Meredith Architecture is an award-winning, full service architectural firm based in Del Mar, California with decades of experience navigating through complex design review boards and art juries, resulting in a high success rate of approved designs. Dean Meredith, the firm’s owner and principal architect, is a native San Diegan with a broad scope of experience designing a range of architectural styles. While Dean’s experience includes commercial buildings such as restaurants, office buildings and shopping centers, his passion is for residential architecture. Heavily influenced by Frank Lloyd Wright while studying architecture in Arizona, Dean’s designs are timeless and unique to each client. His design skills include a wide range of architectural styles, including Contemporary, FLW, Craftsman, Modern, Cape Cod and Mediterranean

Experience includes designing hundreds of custom homes, as well as commercial projects including shopping centers, retail, restaurants, offices, and resorts.  

Pacific Cornerstone Architects

Pacific Cornerstone Architects Inc. (PCA) is a full-service design firm offering integrated design services to our clients since 1994. PCA offers planning, architecture, interior design, and sustainable design services to a diverse base of clients in all areas of architecture.

PCA is regarded for strength in design, development, entitlement, and the approval process. We strive to develop creative solutions that simultaneously consider program, market, and codes, with context to provide sensitive and environmentally conscious designs.

Marc Tarasuck and Associates

Marc Tarasuck received his architectural degree from Kent State University and has been the Principal Architect and Head Designer in the firm of Marc Tarasuck AIA and Associates since its founding in 1979. The firm’s work has received awards from the San Diego Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, San Diego Home/Garden Lifestyles Magazine, the Gaslamp Quarter Association, the City of San Diego Historic Site Board, and Sunset Magazine.

In San Diego, the architecture translates to take full advantage of Southern California’s penchant for outdoor living. His homes are light-filled, take advantage of existing views, have aesthetically pleasing sight lines, and are environmentally friendly.

Research Facilities Design

Established in 1984, Research Facilities Design is a firm of laboratory design consultants. We are a “Hands-On” organization, characterized by extensive Principal involvement from the inception of design through the construction process.  

While RFD has been involved in the design of hundreds of laboratory projects, we see every project as an opportunity to learn something new about science, pedagogy, safety, or construction. By learning and discovering together with our clients, we deepen our collective knowledge of laboratory design issues

R&S Tavares Associates

We were founded in June of 2002 by Ralph and Silvana Tavares, providing Design Services, Structural Design, Consulting and Project Management. Although our clients are from all facets of the Construction Industry, our interest and extensive experience working for and with several Modular Manufacturing Facilities throughout the United States has allowed our clientele in the Pre-Fab / Modular Industry continue to grow. We hold Professional Engineering Licenses in 43 States, Architectural Licensure in NY, and are currently doing most of our work designing and engineering Pre-fabricated buildings.

BV Architecture and Development

With more than 20 years of professional experience in projects of varying size, scope and construction type, Beri Varol brings enthusiasm, energy and attention to detail to every project.  As principal of the firm, he is the driving force behind the firm’s work and is personally vested in ensuring projects transition smoothly through all phases of design and construction.

We believe that the goal of design is to create a structure that lasts, not just by the quality of its construction, but also by the timeless beauty of its design – an architecture that is informed by the past, responsive to the present and aware of the future.
