Jury Chair: Windom Kimsey, FAIA, LEED AP
TSK Architects, Principal and CEO
Windom oversees the planning and development of all projects at TSK. He has enhanced the quality and depth of the firm’s portfolio with projects that provide clients with exceptional design solutions. He has guided the firm to prestigious honors. He received the American Institute of Architect’s 1998 National Young Architects Award for Design and Leadership in the Profession and AIA Nevada’s Young Architects Citation in 1995. In 2002 he received the AIA Nevada Service Award and in 2004 Windom was inducted into the AIA’s College of Fellows, an honor bestowed on only six Nevada architects. He was awarded the AIA Nevada Silver Medal in 2007 and the Western Mountain Region Silver Medal in 2009. A supporter of public education and the arts, Windom has developed a children’s art program that has been incorporated into several of the firm’s public buildings including the Mills Lane Justice Center and McCarran International Airport.
Craig Galati, FAIA, FSMPS, CPSM

Craig Galati is principal of LGA Architecture a consulting firm practicing sustainability, architecture, and sociology. With over 30 years’ experience as an architect and community outreach facilitator, Craig focuses on transformative strategic solutions resulting in organizational and operational excellence. He is past president of both the Las Vegas and Nevada chapters of the American Institute of Architects and Las Vegas Chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services. Craig is recipient of the “Silver Medal,” AIA Nevada’s highest individual award, honoring his lifelong contributions to the community and profession of architecture and is a Fellow in SMPS. Craig is a previous SMPS Society President and recently received his AIA Fellow in 2019.
Dr. Steffen Lehmann, AIA, RIBA, RAIA
Director of UNLV School of Architecture
Dr. Steffen Lehmann (born in Stuttgart, Germany) is an internationally recognized educator, scholar, author, designer, and strategic leader. He is Director of the UNLV School of Architecture and tenured full Professor of Architecture. He is also Co-Director of the interdisciplinary Urban Futures Lab. As Director of the School of Architecture, Professor Lehmann and his leadership team are translating their strategic outlook into programmatic initiatives and impact, dealing with a rapidly changing profession and transforming society.
He has held senior positions in several universities across Europe, Asia and America, including the University of Portsmouth, and the University of South Australia. Previously, Steffen was a full Professor of Sustainable Architecture at the University of Portsmouth in the United Kingdom, and Founding Director of the Cluster for Sustainable Cities, a group of 40 researchers with an interest in urban resilience.
Michele Brigida, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP BD+C

Michele K. Brigida is a Principal of Carpenter Sellers Del Gatto Architects, AIA 2018 Nevada Firm of the Year. Her professional efforts have forged valuable relationships with clients and her contributions have been instrumental in fostering the firms’ commitment to design excellence. Michele’s high level of leadership, client dedication, and devotion to architecture are key to both CSD's present success and long-term vision. She is a talented architect and designer; having won multiple design awards on the projects she has been a part of. Some of her notable project designs include the University of Nevada Las Vegas Hospitality Hall, UNLV Lee Business School, Henderson Fire Station #91, the Muscular Dystrophy Association Headquarters Addition, the Nevada State College Education Academic Building, the Henriksen Butler Showroom, and the Zappos.com Headquarters.
Daniel Chenin, AIA, LEED BD+C, NCARB
Daniel Joseph Chenin, Ltd., Principal
Daniel Chenin, AIA, is an award-winning architect with 20 years of combined experience in architecture and interior design. His work has received both built and unbuilt design awards for the AIA Nevada and the AIA Western Mountain Region (WMR). Daniel received his master’s degree in architecture in 2005 from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is licensed in Nevada, Arizona, and Florida, certified by the National Council of Architecture Registration Boards (NCARB), and an active member of the American Institute of Architects. Daniel's experience areas include hospitality, corporate office, and residential design. In 2014 Daniel founded Daniel Joseph Chenin, Ltd., a boutique multi-disciplinary design firm offering clients both architectural and interior design services.
