Granted to those licensed less than ten years, the Young Architect of the Year Awards celebrate professionals who have shown exceptional leadership and made significant contributions to the profession in an early stage of their career.

About the AIA San Diego Young Architect of the Year Awards program
AIA San Diego’s Young Architect Architect of the Year program honors professionals who have demonstrated exemplary leadership in one or several of the following categories: Leadership; Volunteerism; Service to the Chapter or the Profession; Design; Advocacy, particularly in local governance, climate action, and/or Equity, Diversity, Inclusion + Justice.
To be eligible for YAYA consideration, professionals must be AIA Architect Members of the San Diego Chapter - or employed by a member firm that pays supplemental dues - and licensed for less than ten years from the date of submittal.
