San Diego, CA — BWE, Inc. is pleased to announce the 10-year anniversary of Min GC, P.E., Principal Associate. Min joined BWE’s civil engineering department in 2009 and quickly demonstrated his value which led to being promoted to Associate in 2014 and Principal Associate in 2018. His project experience at BWE includes the UCSD Jacobs Medical Center, Miramar National Cemetery, Torrey Pines North Golf Course, as well as numerous parks, schools, churches, commercial buildings and residential developments.
As concerns about water pollution and flooding caused by environment changes have grown in the consciousness of Californians, so has the demand for efficient and sustainable treatment of storm water through a developed site.
This is Min’s primary area of expertise – how to quickly move storm water off a site and away from its buildings to prevent flooding, while at the same time ensuring the storm water is properly treated before leaving the site. This is a complex balancing act that requires thorough knowledge of regulator standards and engineering proficiency.
BWE celebrated his decade of service at a recent company gather where President, Tom Newsom presented Min with a 10-year commemorative jacket. Mr. Newsom expressed the company’s thankfulness for his dedication, 23 years of overall experience, and hydrology and hydromodification expertise
“Min’s ability to problem solve, work collaboratively, and hydrology expertise on challenging projects makes him a huge asset to the BWE Civil Engineering team and our clients,” Michael Slawson, Principal commented. “I’ve had the pleasure to work with Min for over two years now, and love his professional demeanor, attitude, commitment, and high level of expertise. Our team is better because of Min.”
