Gessel Leonard Architectural Studio, GLAS for short, is a new educational architecture studio founded by two partners who've spent their careers designing schools and campuses across Southern California. We're not trying to be a big firm. We're trying to be the right firm, one where partners stay involved on every project from first sketch to last punch list, and where good ideas can come from anyone in the room.
GLAS is built around a simple idea. The architect who starts the project should be the architect who runs it, all the way through, with no hand-offs.

What You'll Do
- Work directly alongside our partners on projects from day one
- Get hands-on time across the full project arc, including programming, schematic design, DD, CD, and construction
- Build and manage Revit models
- Participate in collaborative design sessions
Qualification/Candidate Requirements: What You Bring
-A degree in architecture and 1 to 2 years in a professional office
-Working knowledge of Revit, Adobe Suite, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and Visispecs
-Additional software experience is a plus. We're always looking for the best tools for our team to work with
-Passion for design excellence, craft, and a collaborative design process
-Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
-A creative mindset, always looking to innovate and find better ways to deliver the work
-A plus: AI workflows, hand sketching, graphic design, photography, computer programming, or LEED accreditation
Compensation and Benefits
-$70,000 to $80,000, based on experience
