FLINT is seeking a passionate, highly motivated, and detail-oriented Architectural Designer/Drafter to join our esteemed team. The major responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:
Rapidly generate and iterate through design options using advanced digital workflows and visualization tools including Revit, Sketchup, & Lumion.
Translate design intent into compelling and high-quality visualizations, renderings, and presentations.
Conduct material and product research to support innovation, constructability, and durability in design solutions.
Create technical documentation and imagery under tight deadlines without compromising quality or detail.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, clients, and consultants to deliver integrated, constructible design solutions that reflect Flint’s design-build excellence.
Research, interpret and integrate building code requirements and jurisdictional ordinances into project development and documentation.
Leverage generative design and automation tools to streamline planning and modeling efforts in Revit.
Qualification/Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
3-5 years of professional experience in architecture or related design fields.
Proven experience as an Architectural Designer/Drafter, preferably within a design-build or design-assist environment.
Proficiency in Revit for design development, documentation, and coordination is essential.
Experience using Bluebeam and Revizto for markup, collaboration, and construction document review.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel for project data tracking, schedules, and coordination tasks.
Develop and maintain ongoing efforts to improve sector efficiency and quality of work.
Strong understanding of architectural design principles, construction methodologies, building codes, and materials.
Familiarity with DSA and public project coordination is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to produce accurate and detailed technical drawings and construction documents.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
A portfolio showcasing high-quality design and drafting work on relevant projects.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: $70,000-$85,000 depending on experience
