Architectural Concepts Inc, a highly regarded hospitality-oriented architectural and interior design firm in the southwest United States seeks talented, experienced team oriented staff with strong technical and production experience using AutoCAD, Word, and Excel.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Mid-level position in architecture.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
First professional degree from a NCARB-accredited Professional Degree program with a minimum of five years related experience post-graduation. Preferably enrolled in NCARB’s Intern Development Program or recently licensed.

RELATIONSHIP TO OTHERS:
Manages and coordinates members of the architectural and interior design teams on assigned projects and interacts with other professional disciplines and clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinate and manage multiple projects of small to medium-sized projects.
• Project planning and programming.
• Research and document building code and accessibility requirements.
• Planning and entitlement processing for small to medium-sized projects.
• Preparation of project design and specification documents.
• Preparation and presentation of plans, budgets, and estimates.
• Materials selections including product research.
• Prepare contract documents including plans, elevations, details and schedules in AutoCAD.
• Comprehensive drawing coordination with multiple disciplines – architects, engineers, and other consultants.
• Plan check and Permit coordination for small to medium-sized projects.
• Interface with owners, consultants, and contractors in a professional manner.
• All phases of construction site observation and construction administration.
• Administration of Bid and RFI process for small to medium-sized projects.
• Specification writing for small to medium-sized projects.
• Shop drawing review and coordination with supervision.
