Marketing Coordinator | Davy Architecture

Davy Architecture, a full-service architectural firm, is currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, passionate, driven and familiar with architectural or engineering practice. This person will utilize their strong writing and graphics skills to pursue and prepare proposals, marketing material, maintain social media and provide administrative support.

Individual will be responsible for:

PROPOSAL MANAGEMENT: Leading the proposal process from start to finish.

  • Take ownership of the proposal/bid process, managing and successfully driving it to meet critical deadlines while contributing to the technical, past performance and project management sections of proposals or bids.

  • Analyzing solicitations and / or client requirements to layout proposal strategy.

  • Continually monitoring all amendments and modifications to the solicitation(s)

  • Acquiring or verifying knowledge of subject by interviewing employees engaged in developing responses for services, and referring to sketches, engineering drawings, construction plans and notes.

  • Preparing and managing detailed proposal strategy, task assignments, schedules, outlines, and compliance matrices; consistently and clearly communicating deadlines and draft review expectations to proposal team

  • Obtain feedback from projects for "lessons learned" to incorporate in future proposals

  • Interview preparation, including the production of proposal materials and shepherding the team through the interview process

MARKETING: Preparing presentations, ad and press release content, designing advertisements, maintaining databases and updating materials.

  • Creating communications programs to effectively describe and promote the organization. Including printed material

  • Researching potential clients and project opportunities

  • Assist with marketing plan development

  • Manage client-contact program

  • Maintaining, writing, creating and organizing marketing materials including project sheets, resumes, project lists and related collateral

  • Updating website content when appropriate and blog posts specific to company events and other activities

  • Creating a social media calendar to include (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT: Provide as-needed administrative support to senior management members.

  • Specific qualifications for the position include:

  • Bachelor's degree in area of specialty w/ 2-4 years of experience in the field

  • Knowledge of the architectural concepts and phases of design

  • Proven working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign applications

  • Experience with tracking and submitting Federal Solicitations and the preparation of SF330 proposals is considered a plus

  • Familiarity with K-12 SOQ preparation a plus
