AIA San Diego Women in Architecture Inaugural Scholarship is now open to applications!

Celebrating Diversity and Equitable Practice

The AIA San Diego WIA Scholarship is an architectural scholarship granted to San Diego High School students pursuing a career in architecture.

Our mission is to support, mentor and engage aspiring students and young designers in San Diego to pursue and remain in the architecture profession, with hopes of diversifying the field.

  • A $3,000 Scholarship will be awarded for the 2021-2022 School year.

  • Each award recipient will be asked to speak virtually on an AIA hosted webinar shared with (3) K-12 schools to share their story and inspiration for pursuing architecture in order to educate students and spark interest in the profession.
