Meet Rocio Gertler! Principal and Design Director of Landscape Architecture at LPA design Studios, she is a leading advocate for a collaborative, research-based approach to landscape architecture in our region. Rocio also has a background in architecture, giving her the rare ability to connect outdoor environments to the built environment.

As part of the month celebration, our chapter also reached out to architecture students from both sides of the border. Newschool of Architecture, Woodbury University School of Architecture, Escuela Libre de Arquitectura and Tecnologico de Monterrey. We asked students to share a video response to one question “Why are you passionate about pursuing architecture?”
