About the Role
We're looking for a Designer / Job Captain with 4-6 years of professional experience who is ready to take the next step in their career. You'll work directly with the Principal Architect and Design Lead while helping lead projects through design, permitting, and construction. Unlike larger firms where responsibilities are often narrowly defined, you'll gain hands-on experience across every phase of practice. Qualification/Candidate Requirements: Responsibilities
+ Develop architectural designs and construction documents
+ Coordinate structural, civil, MEP, and other consultants
+ Prepare permit and construction document sets
+ Assist with zoning analysis, code research, and permitting
+ Participate in client and consultant meetings
+ Support construction administration activities
+ Help maintain drawing standards and quality control
+ Take ownership of assigned projects and tasks
Qualifications
- Required
+ 4-6 years of architectural experience
+Strong residential and ADU experience
+ Proficiency in Revit
+ Experience preparing permit and construction document sets
+ Experience coordinating consultants
+ Understanding of California residential codes
+ Strong communication and organizational skills
- Preferred
+ Multifamily experience
+ Construction administration experience
+ Progress toward architectural licensure

Salary Range: $78,000 - $85,000
