Job Description: About the Role:
Architecture Concepts, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Manager / Project Architect with a minimum of 15 years of experience in architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial, hospitality, and high-end residential design and construction. Qualification/Candidate Requirements: Responsibilities:
• Lead design and documentation for Type II, III, and V buildings, ranging from low to mid-rise projects of varying sizes.
• Collaborate closely with Interior Designers to coordinate interior architecture.
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, contract management, plan checks, and permitting processes.
• Manage an in-house team of architects and intern-architects while working with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Handle multiple small to mid-size projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
Qualifications:
• Professional degree from an accredited university.
• CA Architect License is a plus but not required.
• Minimum 15 years of post-graduate professional experience across all design phases, with a focus on commercial and tenant improvement projects, including restaurants, hospitality, vet/spa clinics, and high-end residential.
• Strong problem-solving, listening, and communication skills.
• Excellent verbal and graphic communication, organizational, and collaborative abilities.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Highly proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office.
• In-depth knowledge of CBC, IBC, ADA, CalGreen, and related regulations.
