In this webinar, we address methods to successfully advocate for and implement local building electrification policies. We cover different approaches: reach codes, land use, and State building codes, and the unique steps, resources needed, and timeline for each process.
Presenters explore statewide efforts on the development of building electrification policies with an emphasis on local engagement topics. We will hear from the City of Carlsbad policy development, discuss impacts on low-income housing, and cover overcoming obstacles and pushbacks. You will gain an understanding of the role of local advocates in advancing this very important region-leading policy.
