UC San Diego Park & Market is a one-of-a-kind social and intellectual hub, purpose-built to spark connections and make education accessible to all. The four-story iconic glass building opened in downtown San Diego in May 2022, and was designed to engage the community through an intentional mix of public, business, arts and educational spaces for civic engagement, learning and collaboration.
A 66,000-square-foot facility strategically located on a full city block in the East Village neighborhood of downtown San Diego, Park & Market creates an intersection of people, ideas, science, art and innovation – learning from and connecting with the cultural heritage and shared values of our unique, binational region.
