The Midway Pacific Highway District stands as a pivotal cornerstone within San Diego, connecting the airport, San Diego Bay, and the San Diego River landscape. Anchoring this vital region is the Sports Arena district, which is currently witnessing a profound wave of transformation and expansion. Now is the time to engage in a deliberate and strategic endeavor to shape the district's future trajectory and its significance for the future of the city of San Diego.
Our Regional Developments subcommittee has been diligently conducting an in-depth evaluation of the District. At our upcoming September meeting, RDAC vice-chair Todd Schechinger and members of the Regional Development Subcommittee will present their progress of the district analysis, including the challenges encountered and the exciting opportunities for enhancing and transforming the Midway District.
The Regional Design Advisory Council (RDAC) operates under the auspices of the Advocacy Commission and meets monthly. Members include design professionals interested in helping to shape San Diego’s future and address the “big picture” issues in the region.
RDAC meets via Zoom on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at Noon
