Wes has led projects across a range of typologies and regions, from the Gilder Center for Science, Education, and Innovation at the American Museum of Natural History in New York to a design cohort planning effort for San Francisco’s new Mission Rock neighborhood. His current projects include Harvard University’s first building with a mass timber structure--the David Rubenstein Treehouse--in Boston, a new U.S. Embassy in Brasília, and a student residential complex in Southern California.

His lecture will present a selection of Studio Gang projects that demonstrate the firm’s ecological approach, which considers how architecture can create and facilitate new and exciting connections between people, communities, and the natural world.
