Navigating the architectural profession is a journey, but there are tools to help you along the way! AIASD is here to support you as a resource and connection to the broader design community. Our incredible emerging professionals chapter and We in Architecture (WE-A) are here to guide you in your journey through the profession. This is a great opportunity to network with others in the profession, meet a mentor, and learn about how you can benefit from these resources.
Tecture, a design studio focused on pushing design boundaries with custom artwork and architectural fabrication, is kindly opening its doors to us. At their Barrio Logan studio, we will hear more about their craft and integration into our community’s built environment over snacks and refreshments.
The Young & Emerging Professionals (YEP) supports emerging professionals at all levels, including students, those on the path to licensure, and those licensed within the past ten or fewer years. The newly formed committee invites all to join us in creating programming which engages the next generation of architecture and design professionals, supports the path to licensure, offers opportunities for interdisciplinary networking, and provides support for exam success.
Formerly WIA, We in Architecture is an AIA knowledge community dedicated to empowering, cultivating, and celebrating the contributions of women and minorities in the design community; WE-A aims to bring more leaders to the table to make measurable progress toward representation in the profession.
