San Diego Airport | Terminal 1 Tour

  • Turner-Flatiron JV Project Management Complex (PMC) 3032 North Harbor Drive San Diego, CA, 92101 United States (map)

We are thrilled to invite you for a special project tour of San Diego's International Airport Terminal 1, guided by Turner Construction Company and Gensler. This tour is part of AIA San Diego's year-long celebration of Design Excellence in San Diego.

Construction on this remarkable $3.4 billion project commenced in 2021, and it promises to redefine the airport experience in our city. The new terminal, boasting 30 gates in total, with an initial opening of 19 gates slated for summer 2025, represents a significant milestone in the project's first phase. Following this phase, the old terminal will undergo demolition, with the remaining 11 gates scheduled for completion by 2028. This tour offers a unique opportunity to witness firsthand the progress and innovation behind one of San Diego's most significant infrastructure developments."
