The Young Architect of the Year Award is given to the individual who has shown exceptional leadership and made significant contributions to the profession in an early stage of their professional career.

ABOUT THE LEGACY AWARD

The Legacy Award honor highlights important contributors in the history of San Diego architecture.  It is a way of giving credit where credit is due and bringing notable figures to light for the benefit of upcoming generations of architects and design professionals.

About the Venue

We are excited to return this year to St. Paul's Cathedral, Great Hall.
Designed by Philip Frohman, a leader of the neo-Gothic style who designed the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., the Great Hall served as the church until after the Great Recession, with the first service in the new Cathedral in 1951.
