Oceanside History + The Top Gun House Tour

Join the AIASD Preservation Committee for this special Saturday tour in Oceanside to see the newly restored Top Gun House (AKA Graves House), view the historic Oceanside Pier and hear about its planned rehabilitation, tour the new Mission Pacific Hotel, and see Irving Gill’s rehabilitated Blade Tribune building. This is a chance to visit these sites and hear from the architects who restored and created them. The tour will include a “pie break” to sample High Pie’s treats that are baked inside the Top Gun House. Thanks to architects Heritage Architecture & Planning, Delawie, and 4 Design Architecture, developer SD Malkin, and Kristi Hawthorne from the Oceanside Historical Society for this one-of-a-kind walking tour of Oceanside. Guests from San Diego are encouraged to take the Coaster train to the Oceanside Transit Center which is five blocks from the Top Gun House.

  • Parking: Street parking may be available near the site, but coastal parking is more difficult on the weekend. There are also paid parking options.
