As always, the start of a new year brings many new laws for California employers. Like last year, many changes relate to health and safety, and in particular, COVID-19. There are many other developments, though, that California employers need to be aware of going into the new year. For the past 14 years she has been in a consulting capacity working with business owners and their C-suite across varying industries. She offers insightful recommendations to mitigate risk, strategic planning and development and provides creative solutions to attract, retain and engage talent.
Prior career experience includes having worked as a Human Resource Business Partner for ADP, Human Resource Generalist for Linens N’ Things in Miami, Florida; as a Human Resources and Training Manager for the Art of Shaving in Miami; and as an Employee Relations Manager for The Biltmore Hotel, Miami.
Diana Dix holds her Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification, Strategic Human Resources Business Partner (SHRBP) certification, and Human Capital Strategist (HCS) certification. She also is a graduate of Emerging Leader, a program of ADP. She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management, San Diego Chapter and San Diego Chapter of Hacking HR.
