Stalled: Gender Neutral Bathroom Design Panel Discussion

Did you know… in 2019 the international code council approved amendments to the IBC code to allow multi-stall gender-neutral bathroom designs?

In the advent of this code change,  join AIA San Diego and AIA New York on Thurs Aug 26th at noon (PST) / 3p (EST)  in a panel featuring New York architect and activist Joel Sanders, RA, FAIA as he shares the work of his Inclusive Design consultancy, MIXdesign, and their award-winning inclusive restroom project, Stalled!

Their work highlights the need to create safe, sustainable, and inclusive public restrooms for everyone regardless of age, gender, race, religion, and disability. They address this issue through lectures and workshops, writings and interviews, design guidelines, and prototypes.
