Regional Design Advisory Council Monthly Meeting

The Regional Design Advisory Council (RDAC) operates under the auspices of the Advocacy Commission and meets monthly. Members include design professionals interested in helping to shape San Diego’s future and address the “big picture” issues in the region.

The RDAC invites J.C Thomas, Assistant Director at the Development Services Department, to discuss the city’s new digital format requirements and improvements.

Earlier this year, AIA leadership met with Mayor Todd Gloria and he requested input from our membership on how to improve DSD. Recently, the DSD has released a new virtual counter for structural recheck appointments. This months meeting we will hear from representatives of the department to discuss the recent and upcoming changes and establish a relationship between the AIA and DSD.
