The Regional Design Advisory Council (RDAC) helps fulfill AIA San Diego’s mission of advocacy for smart growth and good design. RDAC meets monthly. Members include design professionals interested in helping to shape San Diego’s future and address the “big picture” issues in the region.

RDAC meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at Noon via Zoom unless otherwise noted

August Meeting Topic: Current Issues in Affordable Housing

Stephen Russell, President and CEO of the San Diego Housing Federation, will review current data underlying the affordable housing crisis, briefly discuss some of the efforts at the State level to address it, and identify some of the issues playing out locally, including the disposition of the former Sports Arena site.
