AIA San Diego's Technology in Architectural Practice (TAP) Team presents its latest continuing education program
The program will highlight how Point Clouds allow design teams to accurately understand existing and as-built conditions and use captured site information to enrich their drawings and presentations.
Vice President Charles Keeley from Kelar Pacific will be conducting this seminar and will walk you through how provided point cloud information can be integrated into common BIM design workflows, and used for modeling and rendering tasks.
In this presentation, attendees will learn the following:
Understand the technology and skills required to produce and process a point cloud
Learn how to insert point clouds into a model and manipulate it
Learn how to compare modeled geometry to captured geometry for existing conditions
Understand how to use point clouds in visualizations
Cost: FREE for All
Note: Knowledge of how to operate Autodesk Revit, highly recommended.
