1 HSW CEU: LED Lighting Game Show

AIA San Diego teams up with AIA Long Beach/South Bay for a fun and education CE Program

Game show host and lightologist, Therese Lahaie teams up with lighting designers to present technology, mock-ups and sketches for successful residential, commercial and public projects.

This program will guide you through the quality of light metrics to affordably improve health & wellbeing at home, lighting layers enhancing dimensionality of your projects, and optics technologies that lower costs and improve energy efficiency.

We’ll finish off the LED lighting training session with a fun quiz show, plus prizes - you could win a $50 gift card.

AIA learning objectives for the presentation:

  • Identify two ways that the quality of light properties of LED products improve, health and well-being for residential and commercial environments.

  • Recognize innovations in optics technology to reduce fixture count, cost, improve lighting levels and save energy.

  • Observe the four lighting layers and what types of products are required to make the spaces you design look three dimensional.

  • Theorize why this is the best time to be a designer using LED lighting.
