Randy Wilde, policy adviser to San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria, will present the Mayor’s land-use agenda and related policies.
Wilde, who pecializes in land use, housing and environmental issues, comes to the Mayor’s policy team with a passion for public service and a diverse background in both local and state policy. Randy received his bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University, where he double-majored in International Security and Sustainability. He went on to complete his master’s in Public Policy through UC San Diego’s School of Global Policy and Strategy, focusing on local land use, infrastructure, and sustainability issues.
He has worked in the private, the public, and the nonprofit sectors, including five years at the Center for Sustainable Energy, where he focused on clean transportation market development. Most recently Randy served in Gloria’s state Assembly office. Randy’s volunteer initiatives range from managing a nonprofit produce co-op at the City Heights Farmers Market to serving on the North Park Planning Committee.
