Hotel Del Coronado Restoration Tour

Join the AIASD Preservation Committee for an in-person lunchtime tour conducted by the design and construction team of the newly restored porch and lobby at the historic Hotel Del Coronado.

The tour will show how missing historic features were replicated from historic photos and rediscovered during construction. The restoration also included ADA upgrades, replica stained-glass windows, custom Victorian light fixtures, and a new front drive and stone fountain.

The tour will be led by preservation architect David Marshall, AIA of Heritage Architecture & Planning. Also joining will be a historian from The Del and Swinerton Builders, the general contractor on the project. The tour is fully ADA accessible.
