CE Program: Ventilated Facade Systems for Buildings (1 HSW LU)

The technology on which this CE program is focused will be of interest to all those designing in Southern California where weather conditions have to be addressed with lasting solutions that meet strict Energy Code regulations.

At the end of the program, participants will be able to:

  • Define various types of exterior cladding systems.

  • Identify the major components/features of the ventilated facade system.

  • Gain an understanding of the advantages of the ventilated facade when compared to other cladding systems.

  • Gain an understanding of the appropriate use of the ventilated facade system.
