Orchids and Onions Awards Gala

With all that's happening in the world, we're craving the chance to cut loose — even if it's just in our living room. Join SDAF on Thursday, Oct. 1, when the 44th annual Orchids & Onions gala goes virtual for the first time ever. This year's awards promise to be even more memorable than past years. Don't miss out! Get in on the action by registering today!

Unique this year, SDAF is using the architectural awards as a platform to support worthy causes and small businesses. A fundraising drive during the gala itself supports diversity in architecture. Food and drink sponsors Hive Sushi Lounge and Snake Oil Cocktail Company, meanwhile, have teamed up to bring O&O guests a specially designed sushi and cocktail package made just for the occasion. Order yours by Sept. 25, the last day to place orders and do your part to sustain local restaurants during the pandemic.

When: Thursday, Oct. 1. 6:30 p.m. sushi-making and cocktail demo; 7 p.m. awards begin

Price: Free for SDAF members; Minimum $10 donation for non-members

Proceeds Benefit: Donations accepted at registration support SDAF and its mission. Donations made during the gala will fund a new minority scholarship through our partnership with SDNOMA.
