Nearly 200 forms and contracts comprise AIA Contract Documents. These forms and contracts define the relationships and terms involved in design and construction projects and are now widely recognized as the industry standard.
AIA Contract Documents are divided into six alphanumeric series by document use or purpose. Follow links in the table for a description of documents in each series.

Unlimited Documents
- ACD5 Online Service License, create, share, and edit your documents anywhere an internet connection is available.
- Unlimited Desktop Software License, gives 1 to 30 users the ability to create, edit, and finalize over 200 AIA Contract Documents (this license requires you to download the AIA Contract Document software on each individual computer).
- Limited Desktop Software License, requires users to download the AIA Contract Document software to a specific computer.
Single-Use Documents
- AIA Documents-on-Demand Plus, choose one of nearly 200 documents, edit it as you wish, and finalize that document one time per purchase.
- AIA Documents-on-Demand, purchase and download a PDF version of most AIA Contract Documents (this product does not allow you to edit or customize any of the legal language).

Interns and ARE candidates now have easier access to Contact Documents for study purposes.
Interns and candidates for the Architect Registration Examination (ARE) can and should use AIA Contract Documents as study materials for the Construction Documents and Services division for the ARE. Free sample documents are now available on the Emerging Professional's Companion website.

The Beginner's Guide to AIA Contract Documents Software will help you get started with a quick overview of Contract Documents software, and show you step-by-step how to create, edit, share and manage contract documents.
New customers of AIA Contract Document desktop software receive a free online orientation. Follow along while the trainer shows you how to use key features and answers your software questions, and shows you how to access resources and support.
