THE PEOPLE | LEGENDARY DESIGN PROS
Each year, AIA San Diego’s Design Awards program is attended by 250+ of some of the most talented design professionals in the nation, making this a tremendous opportunity for fraternizing and networking. Although markedly different than our in-person galas, this virtual event offers more opportunities for participation, with attendance not limited by drive time or geography.
THE PROJECTS | DISTINGUISHED WORK
This year, we received a record number of submissions (more than 100 in all categories). The jury has distinguished more than 30 projects with honors and merits. The selection process is rigorous and focused on both function and form, with an emphasis on sustainability. The recruitment of a non-local jury of highly distinguished architects means that the projects awarded embody design excellence to the highest extent.
