Unveiled in August 2021, the Rady Shell at Jacobs Park stands proudly along the waterfront at Embarcadero Marina Park South, adjacent to the San Diego Convention Center. This architectural marvel, constructed at a cost of $85 million, has swiftly gained acclaim for its impeccable acoustics, hosting a diverse array of performances ranging from symphonies to concerts featuring renowned artists like Norah Jones and Jason Mraz. Embracing visitors year-round, the Shell becomes a hub of activity, particularly during San Diego's extended summer season, with nightly concerts, special events, and occasional fireworks displays.
