COMPENSATION/SALARY INFORMATION
For information about compensation and other economic factors, please visit the AIA website for FAQs on economics: http://www.aia.org/econ_faq. A copy of the 2005 Compensation Report is available at the AIA San Diego office. The report may be purchased directly from AIA by visiting their bookstore: www.aia.org/store.
RESUME FILE
AIA San Diego maintains a resume file for those seeking positions. Anyone may provide a resume (maximum 3 pages, 8.5” x 11”) by mail, fax, or as an attachment to e-mail (info@aiasandiego.org). Submitted resume items (c.v., cover letter, illustration within the total of 3 pages) will remain posted for six months. After six months (or at the earlier request of the applicant), AIA San Diego purges resumes from the file; applicants may choose to resubmit or update their resumes at this point. The chapter frequently receives student resumes and includes them in the resume file as well. Visitors are welcome to browse the resume file by visiting the chapter office during regular business hours. Photocopies of resumes are available for free to members. Non-members pay a $2 per page fee for photocopies of resumes.
NATIONAL AIA CAREER CENTER
Another source for employers and job-seekers is the National AIA Career Center.
