June 7, 2008 (San Diego, Calif.) — The American Institute of Architects (AIA) San Diego chapter is pleased to announce the 2008 winners in its annual Design Awards & Young Architect of the Year (YAYA) programs.

A distinguished panel of architects traveled to San Diego this past week to evaluate nominated projects and select the 2008 winners. Award winners were announced at the AIA Design Awards Gala held Saturday evening, June 7, 2008, at The Neurosciences Institute in La Jolla, Calif.
